Chez Toi Chefs 2017/18

The 2017/18 ski season is just a matter of weeks away & are very excited to be going into our 3rd winter as Chez Toi.  We have been busy in the kitchen writing, testing & eating new recipes as well as lots of wine pairing. (Someone has to do it!)

We have three chefs joining our team this winter & we are very excited to get them out & be a part of the growing Chez Toi Chefs team. Find out a little more about everyone below.

 

A Little bit about the Chez Toi Owners…

Hi, We are Mark and Jo and we are the owners of Chez Toi. We live in Morzine year round and love being in the mountains.  Our aim is to make your holiday more enjoyable and relaxing by taking care of the catering for you so that you can spend more time on the mountains.

Mark has been a chef all of his working life, from fine dine restaurants to hotel barges in the south of France. Mark will be cooking and designing the menus and overseeing the high standards of catering we are used  to. 
He is a keen snowboarder and and mountain biker and knows the area very well, so feel free to ask him about the best places to go!

Jo has been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, working as a restaurant and functions manager, and for the last 6 years has been working as a chef. Jo is your first point of contact with Chez Toi and will deal with your bookings personally from start to finish. Jo will also be meeting guests on a regular basis, and is always at hand should you need something. She is also a keen snowboarder, but prefers to be more relaxed in the summers, with plenty of amazing hikes in the area, there is always something to do.

Cris has worked as a chalet chef for the past few years and knows Morzine well. She has had a passion for food since she was little, and loves to experiment with new ingredients whilst travelling and creating her own style. She has just spent the summer in Scotland working in a lodge in the outer Hebrides using the finest Scottish ingredients around.
